Our Services

The Gulf Coast Home Watch of Southwest Florida begins its unique service experience when we meet at
your residence to outline what we will complete for your custom service. Below are standard services
we provide for the exterior/interior of the residence. Additional services can be tailored to you specific
needs and can be discussed at this time. Once we view the residence with the owners and receive
special instructions a contract is signed. That’s it we take it from there. Upon each visit we will first
visually inspect the exterior of the residence. Once the exterior is inspected for any deficiencies we
begin our interior inspection after putting on foot coverings to protect your property. Once a thorough
inspection of the interior is completed we will note any deficiencies reporting directly to you for
additional instruction. Either way we will report to you after each home watch service ensuring your
peace of mind. Being this is a small home watch business where services are completed by the
owner/operators of Gulf Coast Home Watch of Southwest Florida, there is no need to worry about
employees hired by larger home watch companies. You can expect small town treatment.

Home Watch Exterior

● Remove junk mail/flyers
● Inspect yard
● Monitor landscaping: ensure your service vendor is completing the service
● Visual inspection of siding, roof, and gutters for obvious issues
● Check windows and doors for signs of break-ins
● Inspect for vandalism
● Inspect for insect or pest infestation
● Check exterior lighting
● Check pool and spa for obvious Additional issues

Home Watch Interior

● Ensure security system is functioning, if applicable
● Check fire/smoke alarms
● Check thermostat settings
● Check for vandalism
● Check for evidence of squatters
● Check for insect or pest infestation
● Check for water leaks
● Run water in sinks and baths – check under sinks
● Flush stagnant water in toilets
● Run garbage disposal
● Check windows and doors
● Check lights and fans
● Check breaker box
● Inspect air filters
● Change timers on lights

Key Holder

We can be at your residence for scheduled services and remain with the vendor at an hourly rate. For
Home Watch contracted customers only.

Concierge

● Open and prepare home before arrival
● Close home (after departure)
● Grocery shopping (contracted clients)
● Pre-Storm preparation can be discussed/post storm inspection
● Light Cleaning (contracted clients)
● Other services upon request, please do not hesitate to ask!

Payment

Gulf Coast Home Watch of Southwest Florida accepts cash, check and PayPal.

Additional Information

Gulf Coast Home Watch of Southwest Florida requires a contract between the client and the Home
Watch company. Each inspection will include an e-mail with a detailed checklist of the inspection. A date
stamped picture of the residence and water valve in the off position will accompany the checklist.
